Dana Anaice Felice is a state licensed massage therapist living and working in the beautiful and rustic canyons of Topanga, California and servicing Santa Monica and the surrounding areas. With a background in gymnastics, yoga and distinguished career as an international folk dancer, she was able to connect with and understand the human body in a very primal way.

After giving birth to her second child and as a result of her extremely physical past, she developed acute cervical deterioration in her neck vertebrae five and six.  At a friend’s suggestion, she visited a chiropractor.  Impressed by the clinic which included six chiropractors and an acupuncturist, she felt confident they could be of tremendous value to her healing process. Soon she began to work for the clinic in exchange for chiropractic services.  It was then that she realized her calling as a body worker and healer. Her job there focused on the intake of patients and communicating the specific ailments of the patients to the Doctors. One Doctor in particular took note of her ability to intuitively recognize the disturbances and imbalances of the clients and strongly recommended she consider a career in the healing arts. After a few months, she was feeling better and was also promoted to guiding clients through recovery exercises and doing some hands on touch work.

Grateful to have had that experience and beginning her new career path Dana dedicated the next eleven years of her life to educating herself as a certified massage therapist. She attended IPSB Massage School, Hands on Healing, Santa Monica School of Massage, Shiatsu School of Massage in Santa Monica and is a state licensed practitioner in several specialized areas including Rehab Injury Massage, Oncology Massage, Cranial Sacral Massage, Unwinding Levels 1 and 2, Lymphatic Massage, Pregnancy /Postnatal Massage, Thai Massage, Self Care Massage, Forearm Dance,  currently training in Arvagio/Maya-Abdominal Massage, and is a certified yoga teacher in the practice of Bhakti Yoga under Govinda Das at Bhakti Yoga Shala and currently studying Mindful Meditation/Kundalini Yoga practice under the supervision of Dr. Ronald Alexander.

Dana is known for her specialization in TMJ recovery, recovery from injuries resulting from sports, dance and yoga strains, and hand and neck injuries that can afflict musicians. Her training in rehab injury combined with other massage modalities is applied. She places emphasis on her knowledge of the unwinding technique which she finds provides her clients with the most effective relief. Through verbal communication and intuition, she releases blocked energy stored deep in the memory of the fascia tissues.
